SUMMARY:
Grade 10-12 Geography and Grade 8,9 Social Sciences. IEB experience required

POSITION INFO:

IEB School in the East of Johannesburg looking to employ someone who:

• has an innovative and progressive approach to teaching
• is able to integrate the use of ICT in the classroom
• has an understanding of the challenges of teaching children across a wide range of abilitieis
• has the vision to identify and take advantage of the opportunities offered by being part of an integrate project-based learning curriculum
• is wiling to initiate and to particpate in field trip excursions
• has Gr 12 Geograpy teaching experience preferably within the IEB context
• is able to work collaboratively in Social Sciences, as well as independently in Geography
• is prepared to be part of a mentoring programme, if necessary and be able to understand and be committed to the ethos and mission of the school
