Global Supplier Relations Position Available

POSITION INFO:

Research
ï‚· Research any legal Issues pertaining to Africa partner and supplier relations.
ï‚· Research legal Issues pertaining to Background Screening in Africa.
ï‚· Keep abreast of new developments in the industry related to compliance, legislation (inter alia Data Privacy, Freedom of Information and Labour Law)
ï‚· Identify new products for the Global zone
ï‚· Research and keep abreast of Background screening companies in Africa
ï‚· Conduct research on countries to understand products offered, legislation and requirements
ï‚· Identify problematic countries and suppliers to source alternatives
ï‚· Conduct Test Cases with potential new suppliers
ï‚· Keep abreast of new developments in the industry, competitor related.
Service Level Agreement
ï‚· Ensure Supplier adherence to SL
Suppliers
ï‚· Source, liaise and meet with prospective suppliers within African countries and present MIE to establish and develop relationships in order to supply Background Screening services.
ï‚· Target and Identify Prospective partners and

Visit suppliers in Africa, conduct meetings and negotiate supplier country contracts
ï‚· Attend seminars and presentations, market and promote the company’s products and services.
Email Correspondence
ï‚· Attend to email correspondence daily
ï‚· Acknowledge receipt of emails
ï‚· Manage your inbox
Administration
ï‚· Ensure that contracts are in place with all suppliers
ï‚· Manage pre-paid suppliers and retainer balances on a weekly basis
ï‚· Monitor Supplier invoices not paid on a weekly basis and escalate pending invoices to Manager
ï‚· Complete onboarding documentation for new suppliers
ï‚· Extract and compare data to identify trends in products, clients and volumes
Accurate reporting suppliers

ï‚· Monitor supplier pricing and where applicable negotiate better rates
ï‚· Maintain and manage relationships with African supplier base (follow up calls, account management, contracting, SL analysis, pricing negotiations, etc.)
ï‚· Identify suppliers for eVer and the AQR

Requirements:

At least one-year experience in supplier relations

Qualifications:

Matric
