German speaking Regional Project Assistant

Your key job responsibilities as the German speaking Regional Project Assistant  in Johannesburg will include:

• Manage the administration and assist with coordination of activities in the sub-Saharan Africa region including the maintenance of the database, procurement, preparation of budgets and reporting to the Foundations headquarters in Germany
• Assist with the facilitation of workshops, seminars, conferences and training programmes in the sub- Saharan Africa region
• Assist in communicating with liberal partner organisation, international stakeholders and international networks including political parties and think tanks in the sub-Saharan Africa region
• Assist in developing and delivering learning solutions and capacity development, activity plans and training workshops

Required are independent thinking, personal initiative, a responsible attitude and excellent language and writing skills in English and excellent organisational and time management skills. German language skills will be advantageous. You need to have sound experience in word processing and social media. If you are not a resident of South Africa you need a valid work visa.
