ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our client sells software to the hospitality industry. This software allows this industry to showcase their products, services and venues in a central database where clients can view their details take up their services. Once the software has been sold our Agents support their clients getting their products set up perfect for viewing. They also support clients if there are problems with sets up and troubleshoot bugs, help with web-skins etc.

 

ADDITIONAL

This current role supports the UK market.

Salary is R16 000 pm

Hours 5pm to 2am (Shift allowance will be paid)

Currently this is a work from home but during training it will be based in office / after the pandemic staff may return to the office.

Please note this is a language based position so you must be able to speak German to apply.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your role will include (but is not limited to):

Ø Troubleshooting technical software related enquiries via phone and email.

Ø Identifying, troubleshooting and logging software ''''''''bugs''''''''

Ø Training of new & existing clients on Venue Software

Ø Implement, train and manage the setup process for our clients.

Ø Cross-selling and up selling products and services (e.g. Training, Web templates)

Ø Assigning and managing designs and custom web-skin work.

 

 

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Ø Outstanding telephone skills with an ability to translate complex technical information into layman''''''''s terms.

Ø Excellent written skills, with an ability to describe technical information clearly.

Ø Excellent time management and an ability to prioritize

Ø A keen eye for detail with the ability to identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Ø Enjoy dealing with people and a genuine desire to assist them.

Ø Experience in a technical call center roll, or the events industry, and/or using event management software.

Ø A commitment to learning and ongoing personal development

Ø Excellent time management skills, and an ability to prioritize.

Ø A problem solving nature with the ability to work under pressure.

Ø A passion for technology and a solid understanding of the IT world, ideally with experience in software training.

 

MUST-HAVES FOR THE ROLE:

Ø Matric

Ø Experience within the Hospitality or with an international client would be advantageous

Ø Some IT qualification would be great

Ø Must have knowledge working with HTML and CSS

Ø Experience within an IT field / Tier 1 Support essential / or Cloud-based support
