German Speaking Senior Sales Manager

SUMMARY:
German Speaking Senior Sales Manager – R20k/month + comm – Cape Town – Immediate start – preferably female

POSITION INFO:

Our well-established client in the Wine Industry in Cape Town is looking for a young, vibrant, energetic individual to join their team. Your strong personality, fluency in German and EU passport are essential. Candidates must have exceptional interpersonal & communication skills at all levels. Are you able to close deals? Duties and responsibilities:
Manage existing customer base
Develop new customer base
Manage logistics from placing order to delivery & payment
Report sales weekly/monthly - by customer – by product
Set & agree sales targets
Set & agree annual expense budget
Arrange & run wine exhibitions, tastings & shows
Maintain regular contact & face time with customers
Maintain relationships with wine estates & service providers
Remain up to date on new products, latest vintages & trends in wine industry – locally & overseas
Able to deal with diverse customer & supplier base
Able to run presentations, wine exhibitions & shows
Able to discuss & plan logistics of deliveries
Highly numerate – understands mark-ups, margins, cost of sales & discounts

General requirements:

• Matric, B Degree, Wine Academy Certificate
• 10 years’ experience in sales in FMCG and wine
• Fluent in German
• Valid EU Passport
• Code 08 + own vehicle
• In-depth knowledge of wine-making & wines
• Able to travel extensively overseas
• PC literate – Microsoft packages
• Detailed knowledge of wine export procedures
