SUMMARY:
A risk services company that specialises in technology-led data driven services in capital solutions relating to credit-orientated alternative assets originated & managed through scalable & bespoke platforms operating in South Africa, Australia & select international markets is looking for a robust German speaking Debt Collector to join their progressive team.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Contacting defaulters by telephone to negotiate payment.
Working within Industry Guidelines.
Reporting progress to line managers.
This role is based over the phone and is chasing outstanding debt, along with putting payment plans into place in order to give customers a manageable plan.
Beneficial previous experience working within Debt management
Naturally compassionate, empathetic person with a confident telephone manner.

Provide financial assistants to customers going through difficult financial issues.
Contact delinquent members to qualify for next steps
Recommend appropriate courses of actions whether that be repossession, litigation, modifications or even extension of payments
Be able to prepare various reports and present reports staff

Requirements

Fluent in German
Contact centre experience (advantageous)
Problem analysis and problem-solving
Basic knowledge of computer software and office systems
Results oriented
Excellent listening skills and an empathetic voice and manner
Initiative
Stress tolerance
Flexibility to work different shifts (including evenings, weekends, or holidays)
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment, multitasking
