General Practitioner - Benoni
POSITION INFO:
We are looking for a GP to provide confidential clinical advice to patients, review medical reports and provide treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all primary healthcare patients referred to by The Medical Society clinicians.
- Initiate and analyse treatment plans
- Explain and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatments
- Diagnose and manage chronic disease patients (in accordance with the designated scheme rules and protocols)
- Refer patients to other providers
- Tele-consult with patients when outside of the nurse''s scope
Experience And Skills:
- Minimum 3 yrs experience within a general practice.
- Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree
- Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
- Official licence to practice
- Valid drivers licence with own reliable transport
- MSc or Diploma in Clinical Trials
- Diploma in Occupational Health
