General Manager Africa Sales

Looking for an experienced and qualified General Manager – Africa Sales with experience within the luxury touring market.

Requirements:
International sales and luxury tourism product, touring and DMC experience
In depth understanding of the travel industry channels and their yielding
Minimum 10 years international, multi-channel sales and sales management experience in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer sales environments
Proven track record with at least 10 years in a sales operation, business planning, implementation and sales support management
Demonstrated ability to work in and with a culturally diverse group of people
Proven leadership experience managing and growing a geographically dispersed sales team
Proven track record of hitting and exceeding stretch sales and margin targets with geographically disbursed teams
Proven track record in successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives with multiple stakeholders and successful implementation
Demonstrated experience enhancing and automating technology solutions to drive commercial outcomes
Proven and Demonstrated success working as part of a collaborative team environment
Process design and refinement using process flows
Extensive experience in all aspects of supplier relationship management
Knowledge of the Products and destinations that the company offers would be advantageous

Qualifications:
Three-year tertiary qualification from an accredited institution
Sales specific qualifications

Duties include:
Accountable for the delivery of the Gross Revenue for the Africa Touring business against the agreed budgets
Geographic Target Setting
Accountable for margin delivery
Margin maintenance and improvement as part of the broader Africa sales and operations team
Budget management
