General Manager - ATO

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Key to this position will be the operations of the business in terms of budgeting,  managing operational costs, and ensuring excellent customer service at all time,  whilst expanding the brand 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Management of relationships with the CAA & external clients e.g. University of Pretoria & customers.
• Responsible for all the legal documents such as contracts & ensuring that certificates are up to date
• Overseeing the booking logistics and co-ordination of training schedules
• Actively promote transformation by identifying business opportunities & drive sales with new & existing customers
• Management of departmental strategy, policies & processes
• Oversee financial management & income projections
• Responsible for keeping up to date with the CAA and relevant industry legislation.
• Manage and monitor aircraft & Maintenance
• Management of the website & marketing strategies
• Continually research methods & techniques to remain up to date on developments within the industry and competitors
• Oversee customer inquiries promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction
• Generate departmental reports
• Attend meetings and training seminars

The minimum requirement for this position

• Grade 12 (Matric certificate)
• Degree in Business Administration or related degree
• RPAS License (advantageous)
• Training school back round/ aviation (advantageous )
• Intermediate PC Skills
• Driver’s license (Code 08)
• Reliable vehicle
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Must be willing to travel between various sites, including fourways, University of Pretoria and practical training facility in Bronkhorstspruit

PREFERENCE will be given to Incumbents from the AVIATION Industry
