POSITION INFO:

General manager

A recently formed start up in the smokeless tobacco products sector is looking for an innovative and hip general manager with a digital marketing background to take the company to the next level. The person filling this position has to be able to manage the entire business and all aspects involved. The candidate needs to be Cape Town based.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounting (Xero)
Manage Shopify
Manage Social media platforms
Manage existing stockists/influencers
Tracking sales activities
Sales forecasting
Compile and present monthly activity meetings
Business development including listing of new stockists/influencers
Execution of marketing strategies including content development and promotional campaigns

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

Undergraduate degree in Business or Marketing
3-5 years'' experience in a general management position
Experience working with digital media is highly advantageous
Good communication and business development skills
