A financial services conglomerate with several branches across the country seeks an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join their hard working and dynamic team based in Pretoria East.

A financial services conglomerate with several branches across the country seeks an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join their hard working and dynamic team based in Pretoria East.

In this growing company, you will be a strong support to the Financial Manager and CFO.

Duties include, but not limited to
Import and reconciliation of several bank accounts on in-house system as well as Sage
Reconciliation of customers and suppliers
Petty Cash allocations
Income Statement journals
Bank allocations
Customer EFTs and payments
Creditor capturing and payments
Other responsibilities as might be required

Education:
BCom in finance or accounting or studying towards

Skills & Experience:
3 to 4 years' experience in an accounting position
Extensive General Ledger experience
Experience working on Sage
Strong personality
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
Must have own reliable transport as traveling might be required
