SUMMARY:
The General Assistant will report to the National Workshop and Fleet Manager. The General Assistant

POSITION INFO:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to the Company’s ‘Code of Conduct’

• Ensure tasks are completed within the required deadlines

• General assistance to mechanics

• General upkeep/appearance of the Fleet

• General maintenance within the Fleet Department

• Ensure constant cleanliness and tidiness of the entire Fleet Department

• Wash, clean and vacuum prior to issue of vehicles

• Ensure all machinery are clean and switched off at close of business

• Report any defects or issues within the Fleet Department

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric Certified will be advantageous

• 2-3 years of direct experience in General Work

• 1-2 years’ experience in the Fleet Department

• Proven track record of experience within Fleet

COMPETENCIES:

• Excellent People Skills

• Ability to perform duties under pressure and prioritize their work load in a timeous manner

• Must be punctual

• Good verbal communication Skills

• Strong commitment to service and quality standards
