SUMMARY:
We are looking for a qualified Gearbox Technician to join our client located in the Eart Rand area. Trade Tested with at least 5 years of experience working with gearboxes is essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

General fitting: gearboxes, couplings, power transmission devices, rotating assemblies and hydraulic systems.
Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner.
Ensure work is performed as per the job card.
Ensure work is carried out to applicable standards.
Adhere to company standards and procedures.
Ability to inspect, analyse and record critical mechanical information during the process of performing mechanical refurbishment.
Ability to sketch and accurately measure components.
Coordinate work in a team environment.
Assist management in maintaining a harmonious workshop environment.
Site work will be necessary as per operational requirements dictate.
Be willing to work overtime as required.
Any other reasonable and lawful instruction.
