GRAPHIC DESIGNER (MOTION) – (AA/EE) CAPE TOWN

POSITION INFO:

Key responsibilities will include:

• Visual Effects - creating high quality graphic elements for use in marketing collateral
• Creation of internal and external videos including animation
• Supporting the marketing team with digital design executions for social media, onsite banners, and newsletters
• Keeping abreast of advancements in new technologies and techniques, contemporary trends in design to deliver cutting edge work.
• Social Media experience on digital platforms (Advantages) 
• Participating in idea sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
• Adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics
• Working collaboratively with the design team, broader Marketing team & the Retail and Promotions departments.
• Working within the brand CI and templates
• Working quickly and efficiently with exceptional attention to detail
• Implementing and delivering on feedback from senior management and peers
• Adhering to design team processes and standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Graphic Design
• 2+ years’ work experience in a Marketing field
• Visual effects/ After effects or any other animation/video program knowledge.
• Great Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator skills
• Good understanding of digital and print design principles
• An understanding of typography, colour, composition and how these elements work together for a design solution
• Understand the importance of brand design
