POSITION INFO:

We are in need of GP and these are the requirements:

Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal
We are seeking to recruit a General Practitioner to be based in Pietermaritzburg, effective 1st June 2021.
This is a opportunity for a long term position.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
- Patient consultations and physical examinations
- Diagnosis and treatment of health conditions
- Liaising with other healthcare professionals and / or hospitals
- Recognise symptoms of serious conditions and refer patients to specialists for further testing and treatment if needed
- Delegate tasks to nurses and / or other healthcare assistants
- Manage emergency care
Requirement:
- MbChb
- Registered as a health practitioner with the HPCSA
- Have a minimum of 1 year experience post community service
- Primary healthcare exposure specialising in family care
- Strong interpersonal skills
The working hours are:
Monday to Friday:
08h00 to 17h00
Saturday:
08h00 to 13h00
