POSITION INFO:

A GP practice in Brakpan is looking for a locum GP that is interested in pursuing a career in General Practice – currently locum position with potential to be a permanent post:

Responsibilities & Duties include but are not limited to:

– Consultations & physical examinations of patients

– Diagnosis and treatment of health conditions

– Referrals, Liaison with other healthcare professionals/specialists and hospitals, arranging admissions where required

– Practice & patient file administration

– Follow-up/consultation in hospital when required

REQUIREMENTS:

– Must have MBBCh (and have completed internship and community service requirements)

– Must be registered as a Medical Practitioner with the HPCSA

– Own insurance

– Business skills/practice management would be advantageous

– Experience as Locum or General practitioner would be advantageous

– Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans

Working hours will be discussed and arranged with the applicant in advance, practice operating hours are:

Mon,Tues,Thurs&Fri 08h00-17h30

Wed & Sat: 08h00-12h00
