SUMMARY:

We are seeking a GM : Finance for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
Â

Qualified CA (SA) with 5 years of Financial Management & Audit experience
Knowledge of IFRS, computerized accounting systems, financial statements and relevant legislation, policies and procedures

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Strategic and financial planning; research, prepare and submit annual budget
Treasury function and attend strategic meetings and make presentations
Manage accounting & financial systems and provide advice
Financial compliance and manage cash flow
Develop/implement tax strategy & plan & purchasing practices
Vet/approve tender documents and ensure all are current
Assist in resolving contracture and commercial problems
Respond to auditors comments and ensure stakeholders adhere to contractual obligations
Complete / submit statistical data
Establish / maintain internal controls and evaluate performance of finance staff
