ACCOUNTANT (General Finance + Imports + Exports) (Manufacturing Industry) - Midrand

Our client, a Manufacturing Company in Centurion has a position available for an Accountant with Import and Export experience

Qualifications and Experience

• BCom Accounting + 3 year working experience in International Manufacturing operations
• German Speaking an advantage
• Sound computer skills
• Knowledge of ERP systems essential

Duties and Responsibility

• Assisting financial manager with reporting. (Local & International)
• Processing financial journals within ERP system.
• Handling of all Imports and Exports. Including processing purchase invoices and arranging payments via the Bank.
• Reconcile accounts of foreign Creditors.
• Follow up on Debtors’ payments.
• Managing Declaration to Credit Guarantee.
• Issuing C1 certificates for all Automotive Customers.
• Assist with Trial Balance and Reconciliations.
• Responsible to reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Processing of claims against suppliers.
• Ensure all purchases and sales are charged to the correct G/L Account and Cost Centre.
• Ensure all Purchase Invoices and Sales Invoices are processed correctly.
• Responsible for Petty Cash.
• Compiling Financial Statistics.
• Assist with Audits, Reconcile VAT & PAYE and submit monthly to SARS and Assist in attending to all SARS Queries.
