SUMMARY:
Our client, a dynamic Financial Services Provider based in the Northern Suburbs of Gauteng is seeking to employ a Fund Accountant - Employee Benefits

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose :

Provide back office support by being a back up for other countries'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' accountants and assisting on year-ends and Trustee cashflows.

Responsible and accountable to effectively manage a portfolio of funds.

Core Description of the Position

Standing in as backup for Africa division on daily work, including but not limited to bank reconciliations, trustee cashflows, and year-ends on all Africa Funds.  To provide support services to the Fund Accounts Divisional Manager, including but not limited to converting and combining payments in standard pdf format for approval, weekly bank reconciliation audits and fund accounting duties for Mozambique

Monthly payments, year-end debtors and creditors, Investments and Disinvestments

Personal Attributes

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work under extreme pressure and handle stress, good interpersonal skills, reliable and self-driven with a clear focus on high quality, integrity and client service

Special/Essential Requirements (Unique Job Requirements for the Position)

O or IB level and B Com accounting degree or equivalent, fluency in English, Reading and writing, fluency in advanced Microsoft Office, prior Everest (or similar) an advantage and Employee Benefits experience
