Fund Accountant

Our client, a leading financial services company based in Cape Town, is looking for a Fund Accountant to join their team for a 4 month contract.The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and focused individual, someone who is able to solve complex problems and has clear decision making skills.

Responsibilities: 

• Prepare daily reconciliations
• Investigate and clear all bank reconciliation items daily
• Prepare annual financial statements, trial balances and general ledgers
• Support and engage with stakeholders for the preparation of the audit.
• Provide technical support and assistance to immediate team

Requirements: 

• BComm (Accounting) or BBusSci (Finance).
• Experience within the financial services industry 
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
