Full Vehicle Analysis Technician

SUMMARY:
New vacancy is available for a Full Vehicle Analysis Technician for our client in the Automotive Industry, based in Kariega.

POSITION INFO:

• Key Responsibilities:
  
  • Conduct dimensional analysis of quality concerns to identify root causes using QA metrology tools.
  • Identify and assess dimensional discrepancies in parts against drawing/CAD specifications and provide timely analysis results to support production.
  • Collaborate with Part Engineers and Project Purchasing to drive product improvement activities.
  • Manage and plan vehicle projects and new equipment-related activities.
• Qualifications:
  
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Experience:
  
  • 3 years of proven root cause analysis and technical problem-solving experience.
  • 2 years of experience with CAD software.
• Essential Skills:
  
  • Strong understanding of vehicle manufacturing processes (Press Shop, Body Shop, Assembly, Purchase parts manufacturing).
  • Demonstrated cross-functional problem-solving capability.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, Power BI).
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
