Full-Stack Web Developer

Our client is looking for a talented full stack developer with 3 - 10+ years’ experience in building and managing web applications using cutting edge technologies.

Role & Responsibilities

You will have a passion for technology and a desire to develop your technical knowledge and experience along the way. You will be involved in the complete software development lifecycle. You will also be working to Agile development methods (Kanban); therefore, you must have excellent team work and communication skills. The teams will be structured around the channel of B2B and B2C and within each back-office function and will be utlised where your skills fits best. We have spent the last 18 months moving from a legacy monolith system to microservices and want to continue the journey towards that and this role will be key to continue this vision and implementation moving forwards.

Essential Skills

Experience in building web services (e.g. SOAP, REST).
Proven experience in structured development and build environments
Strong expertise in core front-end technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON and React also React Native)
Strong awareness and adherence to best practices of coding, testing and deployment
Strong technical competency and proven experience in full stack development.
Strong development experience using technologies including: NodeJS using MS Invironment, jQuery, JavaScript, SQL Server
Sound knowledge of SQL Server 2014 and above
Source control - knowledge of Tortoise SVN and/or Github

Desirable Skills

Passionate for technology – Big data & Cloud computing etc
Understand or have worked with implementation of data warehouse and reporting.
Experience in building Single Page Applications using ReactJS or AngularJS frameworks
Experience in developing and executing unit tests to ensure and maintain code quality.
Classic ASP (VBscript) is desirable to maintain and understand legacy applications
