My clients based in the south of Johannesburg is major producers of industrial equipment components. They are suppliers to the heavy engineering and mining sectors. They focus on the engineering, designing and manufacturing of equipment. They deliver excellent service by investing in the latest technology and equipment. They have an opportunity available for an experienced full On-Board CNC Programmer with experience on Mastercam. To be successful in this role you will have worked in a similar industry and have at least 5 years’ experience. Should you meet the requirements please apply or call me today.
Education:
- Toolmaker / Turner trade certificate.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 5 years’ experience in a similar industry.
- On board Programming experience is a must
- As a part of the interview process you will be expected to write a technical assessment on Mastercam and specifically on-board programming.
- Must be able to read and interpreted technical drawings.
- Must have a stable work history.
- Must have good housekeeping skills.
- Precision tuning will be a part of your duties.
- Must have experience as a Setter.
