Our client is seeking a FRUIT & VEG MANAGER, to join their team. The role is based in EAST LONDON and would suit someone familiar with the area.

FRUIT & VEG MANAGER
Minimum skills and experience required:
- Matric or equivalent
- Must have FMCG experience – minimum 3 years
- Must have manager staff
- Stable work history
Duties and Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations – Manage the fruit and vegetable section to ensure smooth functioning
- Maintain product quality and freshness – Regularly check produce for quality and remove expired or damaged items
- Manage stock levels and ordering – Monitor inventory and place orders to maintain adequate supply
- Ensure proper display and merchandising – Arrange produce attractively to maximize sales
- Monitor pricing and promotions – Implement price changes and promotional activities
- Train and supervise staff – Schedule shifts, guide team members, and ensure productivity
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards – Comply with health regulations and keep the area clean
- Reduce waste and control shrinkage – Track losses and implement measures to minimize waste
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints – Provide assistance and resolve issues promptly
