Front of House Receptionist – Port Elizabeth  

Salary: Market Related

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a front of house; point-of-sale Receptionist to join a dynamic team based in Port Elizabeth, Gqeberha, Eastern Cape. This is a permanent position.

Purpose of Position:

You will be required to perform all point of sales and reception related functions as assigned to you in a professional and efficient manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of Matric or NQF4 equivalent
• +2yrs previous Working experience in a similar role
• Reliable transport to and from work
• Perform all point of sales and reception related functions as assigned to you.
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Cash, Card, POS, Petty cash handling experience   
• Well-groomed with a friendly disposition
• Able to work 2x Saturday mornings a month
• Normal Working hours: Mon to Thu 07h45 to 17h00 - Fri 07h45 to 16h00, 2 Sat per month 08h00-12h00 on a rotational basis

Duties:

• Receipting of Customer payments via cash or card
• Processing and allocating of receipts daily
• Maintaining the cash box
• Issuing of petty cash and reconciling daily
• Daily cash-up duties
• Attending to any queries that might arise
• Delegated switchboard duties
