A cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology company in Aberdeen is on the lookout for an experienced Front End/JavaScript Software Engineer. The company culture is very laid back (they don''t wear suits and ties to work), and Engineers are expected to work autonomously; they don''t micromanage.
Over the last few years, they''ve been growing at an impressive rate and moved into an awesome new office just before the pandemic. The company''s tech people are split across three different teams, but this role will work across all three so you''ll have the opportunity to work with a lot of different people, and each day will be different! They''re a close-knit team and are very collaborative in the way they work.
They''re working on some pretty cutting-edge stuff; really interesting artificial intelligence technology with a lot of very valuable uses across sales/marketing, news, business intelligence etc.
The company are looking for a Front End/JavaScript Engineer that has commercial experience using Angular, as this is what you''ll be using on a daily basis. The other technologies that you''ll be working with most often are TypeScript and NodeJS. You''ll also have the opportunity to work within an AWS environment, so any previous exposure to cloud technologies would be a massive bonus!
As mentioned, the company invested in a new office prior to the pandemic so they are looking for at least three days per week office commitment, when it''s safe to do so. The office is in the City Centre and is very easy to get to.
The salary on offer is up to £50,000 with some good benefits on top. They could potentially stretch the budget if some perfect for the role came along! All interviews and onboarding will be down remotely until it is safe to go back into the office.
