Front-end Software Developer - Javascript, PHP, HTML and CSS, MySQL, Git

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking front-end software developers with a wide range and dynamic skill set. As part of the software development team, you will be working with large amounts of data to create powerful and impactful services. We have several different code-bases offering different challenges and required skills, which we are constantly trying to improve, re-invent and build on.
For those developers who have interests beyond coding, skills such as software service management on linux systems are always welcome, we work with a myriad of services including MySQL, Nginx, Apache and Redis.

Responsibilities:
● Maintaining and improving existing systems.
● Design, develop and test new applications.
● Adhere to programming best practices as well as internal company practices and coding guidelines.
● Security must be your utmost concern, as a Credit Bureau we hold large amounts of sensitive data and cannot risk security flaws. The candidate should have good knowledge of front-end security best practices.
Skills you will need for this role include:
● Javascript
● PHP
● HTML and CSS
● MySQL
● Git
● Linux (optional bonus)
● Nginx (optional bonus)
● Apache (optional bonus)
Other requirements include:
● 3+ Years of professional experience.
● Must have completed Matric.
● Candidates with a computer science degree or similar will have an advantage, however, if you have no such degree you may still apply and we will assist in achieving a certification over time.

Salary +- R35 000pm
