Front End Developer required by a rapidly growing technology company based in the North West who have built a really unique SaaS product being used by customers across the world.
Your new role …
You''ll be joining a relatively small team, with a handful of dedicated Designers, Backend Developers, Data Specialists and a couple of Front End Developers.
Ideally, you''ll become the authority on all things Front End, from tools being used to estimating how long a new feature might take to add. As it stands, they don''t have this experience in-house and to add to that, if you are keen to mentor two more junior developers this is a great opportunity to do so.
Working on a complex platform which is being used by customers in a variety of ways means you''ll be doing some really interesting builds, in other words, no template website builds or copy and paste themes in sight.
Any experience on a SaaS platform would be really beneficial, but not a necessity.
Tech Stack …
You''ll be shocked to hear you''ll need experience of HTML and CSS … but on top of that, the team are currently using Vue.js, but if you''ve got any appreciation of a similar library written in TypeScript, they''re happy.
On top of that, they are keen on experience using Git for keeping track of any changes to the code and for Continuous Integration (CI).
On top of that, as a more senior member of the team, being on top of bug tracking, using JIRA and being au fait with Agile development practices would be a big plus.

Salary & location …
The salary is pretty flexible for the right person, but that doesn''t help you, so roughly speaking up to around £45k, but the right person might be slightly more junior with lofty aspirations or even slightly more expensive but ticking every box.
Location - well, from home just now. Going forward, fully remote but some travel to HQ (a brand new office space in the heart of Lancaster Town Centre - 3 minute walk from the train station) will be needed. However, you''ll be given flexibility around hours and days as they like to treat their employees like grownups.
