A client in the automobile industry is looking for a Front End DevOps Consultant (Advanced)

Supplier Call Off and Supply Chain Control (SCSC) – Material Planning / Call Off: 
As a Frontend developer for Supply Control your responsibility spans from technical breakdown, developing, testing, deploying and operating of all Supply Control Frontend solution/Apps for all Plants worldwide.


 
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
·        Frontend:
o   At least 4+ years' worth of experience in front-end technologies JavaScript, Typescript, HTML 5, CSS
o   Thorough knowledge in UI frameworks e.g. Angular (Version 9 or higher) or React
o   At least 4 years’ experience with Test frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
·        Backend (Java or Python):
o   At least 2+ years’ developing experience in Java (JavaEE) and/or Python (3.9 upwards)
o   At least 1 years’ experience with Frameworks Java (Spring, Spring Boot or Quarkus), and/or Python (Flask, Django)
o   At least 3 years’ experience with Test Frameworks (From Unit to E2E)
·        DevOps experience:
o   At least 1+ Containerization and Orchestration: Kubernetes and Docker
o   At least 1+ CI/CD, Pipeline Setup and Automation (e.g. Github Actions)
o   At least 1+ Automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications (Infrastructure as Code, GitOps; Experience with tools like Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, Flux, Helm)
o   Monitoring and Logging
·        Experience with ITIL Operation processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
·        Experience with public cloud providers e.g. Microsoft Azure
·        Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
 
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
·        Experience with Streaming solutions (e.g. Kafka)
·        Knowledge of developing and maintaining Microservices
·        Agile development experience (e.g. scrum)
·        Experience with SAP systems (ECC, S4)
 
WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?
·        Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar qualification.
·        4+ years’ experience in Frontend development
·        2+ years’ experience in Backend development
·        1 years’ experience in Public Cloud (Azure)

·        Development of new functionality (backend, frontend)

·        Development of automated test for the solution
·        Further improving the automated test coverage
·        Development of API to the backend
·        Functional and technical refinement
·        Maintenance and functional enhancement
·        Support and error analysis during overall test cycles and rollouts
·        Quality checks in regards of development across all teams (ZA, Germany, 3rd party supplier)
