SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining strong relationships with retail stores, ensuring effective product representation, and driving sales growth. This role requires someone proactive, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.

POSITION INFO:
Identify prospects and leads to grow business in your area to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
Service existing retail accounts and maintain positive business relationships.
Ensure products are well-merchandised, correctly stocked, and prominently displayed.
Monitor stock levels and liaise with stores to ensure timely replenishment of products.
Conduct product training and promotions in-store where required.
Complete daily and weekly call cycles, reporting, and administrative tasks and provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Learn technical details about our products to explain alternative uses and applications.
Process orders and credits and follow through.
Attend sales educational training, events and expos.
Arrange and attend in-store demonstrations.
QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
Grade 12.
A tertiary qualification in Sales and/or Marketing or studying towards one will be an advantage.
Computer skills: Microsoft Office & Kerridge (K8).
OTHER
Proficient driving experience with a valid driver's license.
Live in Bloemfontein preferably.
Willing to travel & sleep out.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years’ experience (preferably in the retail/hardware /power tool sector).
Self-motivated, energetic, and target driven.
Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
Professional, reliable, and customer service oriented.
Able to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with retail staff and managers.
Organized with strong planning and time-management abilities.
A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to go the
extra mile.
SALARY, COMMISSION AND BENEFITS
Gross package:
Basic salary (cash): R5 659.60 p/m
Commission: -+ R 15000.00 to R20 000.00 p/m (Based on current sales in the region)
Incentive: R1 500 p/m when target is reached
