Freelance trainer - Seeing with Sound

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Freelance trainer to train people without sight to see with sound thereby providing them with self-sufficiency, pronunciation and independence.

POSITION INFO:

Duties

• Help blind people learn to see with sound
• Constant psychological support of trainees and their significant others during the entire course
• Modifying training methodology in line with individual responses and pace of learning
• Writing and presenting reports on progress made by trainees
• Empower trainees to develop the ability to see with sound at the end of the course using appropriate tests.

Minimum Requirements

• Post Grad, Master of Arts/Master of Science  will be advantageous, qualification in Clinical Psychology
• Experience in working with patients with mental health issues/ disabilities or blindness
• Private counselling practice background
• Training course material development experience will be an added advantage
• Well-developed interpersonal communication skills ( Empathy & Assertiveness)
• Strong, resilient and ethical personality critical for success in this role
