SUMMARY:
Dotsure Limited has a vacancy in their Investigations Department for a Fraud Profiler

POSITION INFO:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct Route Cause analysis on high-risk individuals and known fraudsters to create a deeper understanding of the circumstance’s, individual characteristics, modus operandi used.
  • Document and present profile findings (high risk concerns, trends, and modus operandi) to identify classification of fraud risk, based on the findings.
  • Raise awareness amongst agents across business on high risk profile or trends.
  • Conduct profile analysis based on claims declined for fraud, dishonesty and misrepresentation and structure the outcome in a meaningful format to identify trends and similarities.
  • Create a deeper understanding of the syndicate and high-risk individuals by using internal and external sources including social media analysis for proper profiling.
  • Research and analyse the economic, biological, social, and psychological background of criminals and document to gain knowledge and document.
  • Assist business with fraud related enquiries and fraud investigations on Ad Hoc bases. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Criminologist Degree with good understanding and knowledge on insurance criminal behaviour.
  • ACFE qualification an advantage but not required.
  • Sound knowledge of Insurance fraud.
  • Fraud Profiling and Analytic experience.
  • Apply research methodology and statistical knowledge with interpreting skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinking ability and detail-oriented.
  • Quality Focus, Creative and result driven.
  • Is comitted to continous development and learning.

This position is permanent and will be based in the beautiful city of George, Western Cape.

The position will be filled in line with the Dotsure culture, values and Employment Equity policy and plan. Preference will be given to members of designated groups that are under-represented.
