SUMMARY:
experienced Formulator in animal nutrition. MSc Agri. Plus 5 years experience within animal feed manufacturing. North West Province based

POSITION INFO:

Our client is one of the leaders in the manufacturing of animal feed in South Africa, plus they are a world player and the first choice in animal feeds for pigs, sheep, poultry, dairy and beef cattle.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

BSc Agric in Animal Nutrition (Minimum)
MSc Agric in Animal Nutrition (Preferred)
A minimum of 5 years'''' experience within Animal feed manufacturing/sales/formulation/lab
Formulation software experience (Preferably FORMAT)
Must be computer literate
Must be fully bilingual in both English and Afrikaans

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Quarterly cost formulations as determined by the National Formulations Manager
Monthly formulations, after the standard cost is set
Monthly formulation – reformulation and emergency formulation
Evaluation of Raw Materials and Specifications
Evaluate opportunity ingredients/raw materials
Raw Material Matrix update
Compile and distribute reports after each formulation run
