Forklift Mechanic

1. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Ensure a customer centric approach in the efficient and effective daily completion of the mechanical repairs and services whilst adhering to all health and
safety guidelines

Minimum Required
Red Seal Mechanical Trade Test Certificate

Location Cape Town
Reporting to Branch Manager

FORMAL QUALIFICATIONs REQUIRED:  Qualified Diesel Mechanic

• Must have experience working, repairing and doing maintenance on forklifts 
• Experience working with earthmoving equipment and material handling equipment (5 years_ 

4. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA's)
KPA 1: Ensure the efficient and effective daily completion of the mechanical repairs and services whilst adhering to all health and safety guidelines
KPA 2: Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the workplace (field and company premises) and designated company vehicles
KPA 3: Ensure professional and effective service to customers
KPA 4: Ensure effective administration

Upselling of services and must deliver against committed hours for repairs. Work towards achieving monthly budget
Must look after company tools and company vehicles. 

Might Travel an average of 6000km per month - As and when needed.

Standby and Over time - As and when Required
