POSITION INFO:

Floor Supervisor | Kuwait City | Coffee Shop and Roastery

We are looking for an experienced FLOOR SUPERVISOR to join the team of a busy Coffee Shop located in Kuwait City. The store is an outlet of an expanding roastery with coffee being sourced from all over the world.

Main duties of the Floor Supervisor:

• Oversee all front and back of the house store’s operations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service, respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally.
• Maintain quality control for all food served.
• Analyze staff evaluations and feedback to improve the customer’s experience.
• Project future needs for goods, kitchen supplies, and cleaning products; order accordingly
• Oversee health code compliance and sanitation standards.
• Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs.
• Generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff.
• Attend quarterly P&L meetings

Qualifications and skills required:

• At least 2 years of experience on managerial position at a coffee shop / café
• Formal qualification in Hospitality
• Very good knowledge of coffee making skills / espresso machines
• Fluent English
• Good managerial skills
• Good knowledge of coffee shop operations
• Passionate about coffee industry
• Coaching and training skills

Start: The start date will be establish based on the visa process and this might take up to 3 months.

Salary package:

• Basic KWD 200 - 250 (ZAR 9600 - 12000) TAX FREE
• Accommodation will be provided
