Job Position: Fleet Supervisor - Logistics

Qualifications / Requirements:

Matric
Relevant qualifications in a similar field
Valid code 14 driving license
Minimum 2 years’ experience, ideally in the logistics / transport industry
Ability to work unsupervised
Administrative skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Computer Literate
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Key Performance Areas:

Asset management: ensure all fleet assets are effectively and efficiently maintained
Develop, implement, and manage a routine / scheduled maintenance register to track all the required services
Effectively manage all breakdowns, to ensure minimal down time of assets
Maintain detailed records for all fleet maintenance and breakdowns
Ensure SHEQ compliance of all facilities
Conduct regular safety inspections of all vehicles to ensure that they are in working order.
Staff management: Ensure staff are fully briefed on what is expected of them (Drivers, Fleet Controllers)
Management of staff (Drivers and Fleet Controllers) leave, sick and AWOL and ensure company policies and procedure are always adhered to Supplier management: ensure that suppliers meet their required deliverables and are held accountable accordingly
