POSITION INFO:

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Matric
• Diploma or Degree in Logistics or relevant tertiary qualifications
• 3 -5 years’ experience in a supervisory role within long distance transport industry
• Must be able to conduct day to day business in both English and Afrikaans (fluently)
• Good communication, leadership and interpersonal skills – bilingualism is non negotiable

 Job description

• Compile monthly management reports
• Maintain a high level of discipline within the operations
• Maintain a high level of service to client
• Management of the assets and staff
• Cost budgeting, planning of loads, routes, fuel, overnight locations
• Draft and updated service level agreements with customers
• Accident and incident investigations
