Purpose of the Position:
The DC Facilities and Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of what the company owns as well as any leased buildings and assets including plant, fleet and materials handling equipment and accessories related as mentioned under the Key Functional Responsibilities.
Key Functional Responsibilities.
Responsible for daily asset inspections
Breakdown and Accident Response.Quality Standards
Process and Regulatory Compliance
Fleet Certification
Facility Regulatory compliance service schedule
Other facilities related regulatory compliance service schedule
Ad-hoc Vehicle and Driver Management
Fuel Management
People Management
Cost Control
Equipment maintenance (Trucks and delivery equipment Inc. Bulkheads and Shoring Bars and all MHE)
MinimumQualification Required:
- Grade 12
- SAMTRAC
- Relevant Tertiary Degree / Craftsmanship Certification
- Good mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge
- Complete and up-to-date knowledge of road traffic regulations
- One year experience in a similar position.
- Complete and up-to-date knowledge of OHSA
Computer Literacy Required:
MS Office Intermediate skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
