Fleet Controller / Logistics Supervisor
CTC: R12,000 – R15,000 per month
Employment Equity: Open to EE candidates (Male only)
Working Hours: On-site | Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:00 (occasional overtime)
About the Role
A well-established company in the retail sector, based in Midrand, is seeking a hands-on and dependable Fleet Controller / Logistics Supervisor to join their team.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fleet, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained, drivers are managed effectively, and logistics processes run efficiently. This is a practical, on-site leadership role suited to an individual with solid technical knowledge of trucks and diesel engines.

Requirements
- Qualification: Diesel Mechanic qualification is highly advantageous
- Experience:
- Proven experience in fleet control or logistics supervision
- Strong technical knowledge of trucks, engines, and maintenance
- Leadership and supervisory experience essential
- Must be proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Valid driver’s license
- Willing to work occasional overtime as required
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate day-to-day fleet operations
- Conduct pre- and post-trip truck inspections
- Schedule services, repairs, and maintenance for all vehicles
- Supervise and monitor drivers, ensuring discipline and compliance
- Maintain accurate fleet records and documentation
- Oversee vehicle condition and readiness
- Report directly to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager
- Assist with general warehouse and logistics duties as required
