Salary: Up to R16 000 per month commensurate with experience and qualification
Permanent position with 3 months probation period

Qualifications / Requirements:
• Knowledge of trucks, maintenance and logistics
• Strong administrative skills
• Able to work unsupervised and logically
• Able to work after hours and sort out delivery issues when required
• Must be computer literate (Excel, Word and Microsoft)
• Able to work under pressure
• knowledge of auditing will be advantageous
Key Performance Areas:
• Required to support planning and operations
• Responsible for maintaining and updating all vehicle and Driver records in line with audits - knowledge of auditing will be advantageous
• Manage training and supervising Drivers
• Keep customers updated regarding their orders
• Preparing and presenting logistics reports to senior management
• Taking important health and safety measures to avoid quality control issues
• Help getting transporters safe loaded at majors
• Assist with general break downs
• Booking Drivers into accommodation
• Monitor fleet via telematics and camera software
• Site inspections
• Ensure Drivers have correct PPE
• Ensure the right procedures are followed when taking a fuel sample to get sent away for
• Incident and accident investigations
• Co-ordinate spill clean ups
• Compile hearing evidence needed from trackers, CCTV etc
• Downloading of any CCTV footage at the depot
• Ensure fleet cameras are operational and in working condition
• Ensure footage of incident/accident are retrieved and saved
• New installation of fleet camera equipment
