Trade Tested Fitter and Turner

Requirements

5 Years experience as Fitter and Turner with grinding experience.
Have sound knowledge of engineering and plant equipment, ie Compressors, Conveyors, motors and pumps, lathes and mills.
Valid drivers license essential, available to travel when breakdowns occur

Duties

Handson individual able to work under immense pressure.
Ensure that repair maintenance is carried out and all mechanical machines and hydraulic installations are maintained as per manufacturers standards.
Work according to a planned service schedule and ensure reporting, inspection and repairing is carried out.
Perform all relevant statutory checks as required.
Improve versatility, problem solving and troubleshooting on all equipment.
Able to mentor quality of work.
