SUMMARY:
Responsible for executing a full range of assembly and fitting related in the company.

POSITION INFO:

Duties and Responsibilities
-        Performing of fitting trade related activities to optimal quality standards and meeting on production delivery requirements, such as:
o   Remove and install coarse product motor
o   Replacing idlers on conveyors
o   Change bolts on vibrating screen motor
o   Replacing electrical motor
o   Change pipe in plant
o   Replacing motor
o   Change gate cylinders
o   Change poppets and buffer rubbers
o   Remove and replace pump v-belts and pulleys
o   Operation of forklift
o   Remove and replace pump electric motor
o   Replace the exciter at primary
o   Grease a motor
o   Remove and replace pump unit
-        Adhere to all safety policies and procedures in the company
-        Complete work allocated within set timeframe to achieve departmental targets
-        Ensure all breakdowns are attended to timeously
-        Ensure good housekeeping at all times


Qualification required:
-        Minimum N3 trade qualification
-        Qualified Artisan


Experience required:
-        3 -5 years related work experience


Knowledge and skills required:
-        Ability to build and maintain good relationship
-        Good interpersonal skills
-        Ability to share knowledge
-        Good Mechanical equipment and applications knowledge
-        Problem solving skills
-        Good reading and interpretation of detailed drawings, specifications, performing relevant calculations and identifying of markings to ensure adherence.
-        Advanced knowledge of tools/equipment pertaining to trade.
-        Must be able to conduct basic maintenance and quality checks on the equipment.
