SUMMARY:
Our client in the Automotive Industry has a vacancy for a qualified Fitter.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Should be able to run a shift on his own.

Should have a minimum of 5 years experience.

Should be able to work shifts and overtime.

To assist production to keep machines running.

Assist the EMSEC GOLDWING

Ensure correct implementation of TPM

Education/Experience:

Matric with a minimum of N3 Mechanical with at least 5 years related experience in areas such as Preventative maintenance, machine breakdowns and safety systems. 

Must have a sound working knowledge of :

Fixing Motors

Machine Tool fitting

Gear box knowledge

Lining of machines

Repairing pumps

CNC Machine maintenance

Hydraulics, slides, linear shafts etc.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to work as a team member, under pressure with good organizational skills and problem solving capabilities.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be computer literate in MS Word and MS Excel.
