POSITION INFO:

Fitter (3-month contract) - Cape Town - R103 per hour

 

Qualifications & Requitements:

• South African citizen.
• Minimum qualification is N2 with Fitters trade.
• Knowledge of Gearboxes would be an advantage.
• Experience with laser alignment would be an advantage.
• Electrical knowledge in induction motors would be an advantage
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Mechanical background and ability to work independently and in a team will add advantage.
• Own transport will be an advantage.
• Computer literate (To search documents on the technical network)
• Would be required to work after hours and on standby.

 

Responsibilities:

• Assemble Geared units and motors.
• Disassemble Geared units and motors.
• Laser alignment.
• General fitting and Turning.
• Analyze units for repairs and quote.
• Fault finding.
• Field service on site work.
• Perform final inspection on geared units/ motors.
• Maintain good timekeeping, housekeeping and safety standards.
