JOB CONTENT & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Training of apprentices/skills programmes/short courses - Trade

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job content & responsibilities:

  • Training of apprentices/skills programmes/short courses
  • Trade Testing/ARPL
  • Training administration
  • General competency assessments

Qualifications required:

  • Qualified fitter & Turner with three years related work experience
  • Two years work experience as a Trainer
  • N4 Mechanical Engineering Certificate
  • Trained/Registered Assessor and Moderator
    • Fitter & Turner in manufacturing/mining/production environment
    • Ability to train Advanced Pneumatics and Hydraulics
    • Ability to train pipe fitting
    • Train the Trainer
      • Facilitation skills, Communication skills, Writing of reports , Presentation skills

Requirements (technical skills):

Requirements (soft skills):

General work related experience required:

  • Fitting and Turning experience in the manufacturing, production and mining environment
  • Training of apprentices and p1 candidates will be advantageous
