Programming and Operating Programmable CNC Machines.;

POSITION INFO:

Fitter and Turner (Programable CNC Machines)

Permanent position based in Lenasia

Salary negotiable

Experience and Qualifications:

Qualified Trade Tested fitter and turner

Proficiency in programming and operating controls

Experience in Edgecam essential

Computer literacy

Min 2-3 years relevant experience in plastic injection molding- Preferred

Min 2-3 years relevant general Tool room working experience including hand work-preferred

Must be able to read and interpret Technical Drawings

Must have knowledge on 3D modelling software (Inventor or Solidworks or similar)

Experience in Thin-wall injection molding will be added advantage

Must have welding experience

Duties (Key Performance Areas):

Attending to breakdowns

Programming, setting-up and operating of CNC machines

Proper cutter selection for specific application

Minimized idle time

Cutting tool management by ensuring that the correct cutters be available at all times

Maintain and modify existing molds as well as manufacture/design new tools

Maintain tight tolerances

Attend to breakdowns at all times, including after-hours support. Weekends, public holidays, etc

Refurbish tooling to standard specifications

Ready to do standby on weekends, public holidays, after hours, etc is essential

Ability to work overtime when required

Possibility of working shifts

Other:

Own car required

Own Cell phone required

Plant runs 24 hours/ 7 days

Weekend and shift work
