SUMMARY:
Southern Oil Pty Ltd, an established company and market leader in manufacturing Canola oil and related products in the retail, food services, and bulk sectors, has the following exciting career opportunity in Swellendam.

POSITION INFO:

Short Summary:

The main task of this position is the identification and picking of orders.

Responsibilities:

• Pick orders as per the picking instruction.
• Record picked product as per order.
• Ensure to follow the FIFO principle.
• Complete the quality check on every pallet as per the procedure.
• Report any variances/ damages to the Team Leader.
• Rework of damages on picked pallets.
• Checked load sheets for the Team Leader.
• Assist forklift driver with identification of orders for loading.
• Responsible for cycle counts.
• Assist & maintain overall housekeeping.
• Ad hoc tasks as per instruction from Supervisor.

Key Competencies:

Education and Experience

• A minimum of a Grade 12
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
• One year experience in a similar role

Interpersonal Skills

• Must be able to work in a team and alone
• Good time management
• Be disciplined and reliable
