Fine Picking, Packing & Checker – Junior Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Fine Picking, Packing & Checker – Junior Supervisor to join their team in Kempton Park

POSITION INFO:
Roles and Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment & Quality Control:

• Oversee the picking and packing of all Fine Picking, Marketing, and Doctor's Orders.
• Ensure all orders are picked, packed, labelled, invoiced, and dispatched accurately and timeously.
• Take clear photographic documentation of all prepared and dispatched orders (Value, Fastway, and special deliveries).
• Track all orders via email to ensure none are missed.
• Book and confirm Courier dispatches and oversee handovers.
• Supervise loading of pallets to ensure correctness and prevent dispatch errors.
• Warehouse Supervising & Housekeeping.
• Ensure warehouses are kept neat, clean, organised, and fully stocked.
• Maintain the packing area and collation warehouse to support efficient workflow.
• Use a pallet jack for moving and positioning stock.
• Wrap pallets immediately after stock is picked, and return pallets to shelving where applicable.
• Monitor and control stock movement between warehouses 🧾 Administrative & Coordination Duties.
• Ensure all documentation (Sales Orders, Picking Slips, Invoices) is processed correctly.
• Coordinate closely with all relevant role-players.
• Assist with receiving stock and supporting inventory transfers.
• Participate in stock counts and support inventory accuracy.

• Provide backup support to Front Shop Assistant when required.
• Assist in Finished Goods movements and general warehouse tasks as needed.

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent (Essential).
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (Advantageous).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy (emailing and documentation tracking).
• Experience using a pallet jack.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks and maintain a clean work environment.
