POSITION INFO:

A Multinational concern based in the Northern suburbs in the Financial /IT  industry seeks An energetic self driven incumbent that has a Bcom accounting Degree  to join there team to assist the Group Financial Manager in a Financial accountant capacity and has worked for a large company where the turnover exceeds R 10 million 

Please note this an AA - Employment Equity position 

Minumum Requirements :

• B.Com Accountancy or Equivalent or in the process of completing such
• 2-years related experience

• Ability to make decisions regarding the managing of a department
• Ability to work under pressure, willingness to work overtime
• Good interpersonal skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail essential
• Time management skills
• Communicate at all levels

Responsibilities - Key 

• This involves assisting the Group Financial Manager in terms of planning, monitoring and directing of the financial policies of the company.
• Experience with managing staff
• Ability to make decisions regarding the management of the department.
• Interaction with other departments.
• Experience at a large company with monthly turnover exceeding R10 million.
• Have a good understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience at preparing monthly packages on Excel.
• EEExperience with intercompany transactions.
• ACCPAC Experience.
• Knowledge of Accounting controls and procedures
• Knowledge of relevant taxes (VAT and Income Tax)
• Knowledge or use of EFT systems
