Qualified CA

B Com Hons Accounting Science,

3-5 years’ experience

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the company’s US listed shareholder reporting requirements including but not limited to, daily flash report, weekly tx tracker, monthly WD6, WD7, MBR reports, quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting/planning, long range planning and any other ad hoc reports that may be requested from time to time,

Manage the company’s income tax requirements including detailed calculations, collating supporting documentation, working closely with tax consultants and SARS on submission requirements,

Work closes with the SARB on company reporting requirements and annual data submissions,

Preparation of internal monthly management accounts and other business reporting, providing insight into the operations, calling out areas of concern and potential improvement,

Provide strategic insight to Exco and Manco on business improvement areas resulting from reporting and work closely with managers to assist in improving their departmental functions,

Work closely with Cash Settlement and Fee Accountant to ensure that company’s billing and recovery of transaction fees are valid, accurate and complete,

Possess a strong understanding of the financial operations of the company, particular around the cash ordering, loading, settlement, rebank and reconciliation process with a strong emphasis on providing support to and achieving efficiencies in the cash ordering space,

Prepare business models to evaluate new business opportunities,

Forecasting and budget preparation,

Improve processing efficiencies and drive system improvements and automation,

Be an active member on the company’s Risk and Regulatory Committee,

Regular interaction with departmental managers to implement, resolve and improve operational or accounting issues,

Communicate concepts in a manner that solicits support and buy-in from the team,

Coach and motivate department heads to implement improved cost control processes and
